Epsom Rotary Christmas Collections 28/11/2010.

The annual Epsom Rotary Christmas collections for 2010 began at the Wells Estate in Epsom. As is customary, Tilly the train, Epsom Rotarians, Santa (aka Rotarian John Goddard) and Christmas hat wearing Rotaractors were all present. As usual, they collected for Rotary many associated charities. A big thank you to everyone who participated!

The Epsom Rotaract Coffee Morning 27/11/2010

Epsom Rotaract recently staged a coffee morning at Ashtead Baptist Church. Rotarians, friends, family and residents of Ashtead received a warm welcome on a chilly Saturday morning. They were greeted by a hearty supply of coffee and a wide assortment of homemade cakes made by the Rotaractors.

Maintenance work at the Stephen Woods Centre Day One 20/11/2010



Volunteers consisting of  Epsom Rotaract, Epsom Rotary, Ewell Rotary and friends of the clubs (aka the Epsom Community Projects Group)converged in Epsom in late November. The Stephen Woods Centre was in need of a new look and the team began stage one of the makeover.

One of the great Epsom Rotaract Club traditions continued in November - the club birthday meal. Members, honorary members and potential members of the club all celebrated birthdays in October and November.

Operation Christmas Child - Present wrapping for Samaritans Purse 05/11/2010



Members and friends of the club gathered in Epsom to collect and wrap presents for a worthy cause: Samaritan's Purse.

Operation Christmas Child is the world’s largest children’s Christmas appeal with a heritage of 20 years. Every year Operation Christmas Child is made possible through the amazing support of thousands of children and adults in the UK and Ireland. Last year alone we had the nearly 1.2 million shoeboxes were sent, bursting with joy from the UK and over 200,000 from Ireland to children in parts of Africa, Central Asia and Eastern Europe.
