St Patrick's Day Quiz at the Penny Black pub

Epsom Rotaractors graced the Penny Black pub in Leatherhead for a special St Patrick's day quiz. Rotaractors used this is event to try out their St Patrick's themed gear prior to the Race Night. Guinness Hats, suitably green attire and even tartan were worn on the night.

On the night, the Rotaractors came seventh in this vaguely Irish quiz. A crowded pub and genial patrons(including a table of older drinkers singing Irish songs), gave the evening a relaxed (and loud) atmosphere.

However, a poorly functioning PA meant that the quiz ended extremely late. This softened the blow somewhat, as the team (known on the night as the Caley Kings and Queens) were more focused on making a sharp exit. The spirit of this team was not dampened by defeat. Hopefully, on a different night (with a better PA) the Rotaractors will one day be victorious!
