The Penny Black Quiz 03/11/2011
This edition of the Penny Black Quiz marked Andy's last club social before moving to Brighton. Our team name was the Mo Bros Feat Rebecca. Rebecca, Chris, John and Andy began the quiz & Rob & Wendy joined later. Even though we came 8th (out of 9 teams) the quiz was still a 'chance.' A chance for Mo Bros to compare taches; a chance for Andy to show off trainers bought with his winnings (he also donated some of it to Comic Relief) & a chance to say goodbye to Andy- a great club member. Good luck in Brighton!

Epsom Rotaract 'St Patricks Day themed' Race Night
Epsom Rotaract returned to the Kingswood Village Club for another charity Race Night. It was held two days after St Patrick's day, so Irish flags and lots of green were on display. Treasurer Mark and friend of the club Richard greeted punters outside the car park, in their own inimitable style. Mark wore a leprechaun outfit. Richard meanwhile, wore a delightful green shirt, Guinness hat and inflatable horse ensemble.

Drinks Snacks and Games night at Helena's
Rotaract club member Helena welcomed club members to her humble abode for drinks, snacks and games!
It was a fun and chilled out evening (apart from when Helena's boyfriend was yelling at the rugby on the TV!)

Conservation Project at Riding for the Disabled Assocation (RDA) Saturday, 22/08/2010
Recently, Rotaractors, Rotarians and friends, converged at the RDA for their latest project. After their sterling efforts clearing the area around the St Ebbas garden earlier this year, the nearby RDA was next in their sights. So naturally, they sprang into action. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the Epsom Community Projects Group!

Members of the Epsom Rotaract Club assisted Epsom Rotary in their latest community project. The aim of the project is to clear the garden and turn it into a sensory garden for the mentally handicapped children at the facility. Rotaractors, Rotarians and friends spent a couple of hours at St Ebbas Hospital's garden. They were clearing parts of it that had become overgrown. Footpaths were cleared and a fresh coat of paint was added to areas of the garden. No nook or cranny was left unturned, as they approached the conclusion of the project. A good job was done by all involved.
