Computer Presentation at The Children's Trust 08/10/2011

The £1326 raised from our race night this year has been put to good use. It went towards Lifelites which provides electrical equipment for children with learning difficulties. Said equipment can then be used for learning and leisure, playing a big part in making the children independent and involved in fun activities.

The Children's Trust is the beneficiary of Lifelites good work. The money raised is to go towards computer equipment at the Children's Trust. This enables the children to play games and learn.

This was the official presentation of this equipment (3 computers were purchased). It was a great chance to see the benefits of the hard work of Rotaractors. Club president Holly, along with Anthony, John and Ellie attended this presentation along with reps from Lifelites and the Children's Trust.

It was very rewarding to view the equipment that was purchased with our money from the Race Night. The touch screen technology made the computers easily accessible for children with physical and learning difficulties. From Facebook, to homework to Youtube to games the computers were very popular with the children. Once again Epsom Rotaract has made a difference!
