We had a fun time clue solving and completing challenges
around the Surrey countryside courtesy of club member Helena. And there was
some friendly inter-club district rivalry with two teams from Woking Rotaract
competing against two teams from Epsom Rotaract.
We met at Pyrford Lock where we were handed the questions,
directions and challenges and then it was game on. We stopped at lots of
picturesque villages on the way – Old Woking, East Horsley Ripley and Shere
while trying to solve cryptic clues, find items and work on our challenges.
Our challenges included humming The Apprentice theme tune,
writing a lyric and making a hat.
Once our time was up we headed to Guildford for a meal and
to await the results. Congratulations to the Woking Rotaract team who won and
many thanks for organising such a great event Helena.
