Muhahaha! Epsom Rotaractors and friends marked Halloween 2010 at Amy's flat. The doors opened with a menacing creek at 7pm. Henceforth, there were many ghoulish games to be played. This included: a Halloween quiz (boys vs girls - with Mark as an honorary girl), horror movie charades, wink murder and erm, Twister. There were also wicked snacks, along with a scary amount of alcohol to be had.
There was a partial fancy dress theme, with a vampire, a bloke in a scary mask, handcuffs(?), Joan of Arc (who was burned at the stake as a witch), people wearing black, a 1920s flapper (it must have been a ghost), a half man, half inflatable horse, a teen wolf and a Dalmatian that kept shedding her spots (she was probably cursed). Each room had a sin and the eclectic crew were mostly based in the 'sloth/living' room.
Much fun was had. The never ending punch bowl kept flowing, the drink and snacks were disappearing, creepy music was playing and party goers kept chatting. Then, at the stroke of 2am, the assembled throng marched, zombie-like to their various modes of transportation. Thanks to Helena, Amy and everyone else who helped organise this event. Their decorations, music, and quiz questions were very scary indeed.
