Club members attended Bromley Rotaract's Fish n' Quiz event in aid of Demelza Childrens' Hospice (http://www.demelza.org.uk/). The hospice supports children and young people (0-19) who are not expected to reach adulthood, and offers support to their families.
A full house wracks their brains! |
A turnout of approximately 80 people enjoyed the quiz (and the fish and chip supper and bar). Bromley Club President, Heather was happy with the turnout. First prize was a bottle of wine and a unique cake which had a marzipan fish and chips design!

Heather gave Epsom members a warm welcome and showed them Bromley Rotaract's colourful publicity leaflet. She even offered to help us if we wanted to implement a similar leaflet design! Cheers Heather!
The raffle prizes |
Ellie with her truffles. |
Katie with Cranium, which was actually a very heavy board game to carry! |
Epsom's team Quizaster Zone did not win the quiz. However, Ellie won some Champagne truffles and Katie won a board game. Sadly, Chris and John (and Anthony) did not win anything. John and Chris' faces in the photo below tell the story. Ahhhhh.
Overall, it was a successful event, the Fish n' Quiz raised £640, which will go towards music therapy sessions! Well done to Bromley Rotaract and thank you very much for having us!
I am glad you all enjoyed the quiz.
