Epsom Rotaract returned to Leatherhead Parish Church Hall for a British-themed quiz in aid of Epsom Medical Equipment Fund (http://www.emef.org.uk/). There were British themed rounds on Comedy, Sport, History, Music and General Knowledge plus picture rounds on British counties and British national treasures. Epsom Rotaract President John Bishop was the quizmaster for the evening and club mascot Super Ted was nearby looking out for any cheaters!

The raffle! |
John Bishop, club president, had this to say:
"Doing something to help Epsom General Hospital was something I had always wanted to do. I was born a month premature and wasn't breathing. Luckily, quick thinking staff at Epsom Hosptial revived me. I'm very proud that as Epsom Rotaract President I got to give back to Epsom hospital.
We attracted 18 teams and 137 people..At one point, we weren't sure if we were going to get enough teams! And we ended up selling out and turning people away!"
Well done to everyone who took part and came along. You all made the event a huge success. Thank you!
