Birthday meal at Everest Spice Epsom 12/11/2010

One of the great Epsom Rotaract Club traditions continued in November - the club birthday meal. Members, honorary members and potential members of the club all celebrated birthdays in October and November.

This occasion was marked with a meal at Everest Spice in Epsom. Caro, Chris and Glenn all enjoyed a warm reception (pun intended) from fellow club members. Jason another potential member, could not be with us on this night to celebrate his birthday. However, plenty of birthday cards were signed for him on his return. Happy birthday Jason!

Dishes of various spices and styles, several with a distinctively Nepalese flavour, dominated the proceedings. The evening was rounded off with a birthday cake. There was even a rendition of happy birthday from fellow club members - and the four gentlemen sat at the table behind us. This was proof positive that Rotaract truly does bring their community together!
