Epsom Rotaract recently staged a coffee morning at Ashtead Baptist Church. Rotarians, friends, family and residents of Ashtead received a warm welcome on a chilly Saturday morning. They were greeted by a hearty supply of coffee and a wide assortment of homemade cakes made by the Rotaractors.
While the visitors relaxed in their warm and cosy surroundings, a bric a brac sale and a raffle also took place. The latter featured some interesting prizes, with the star prize being a signed Freddie Flintoff T-Shirt.
At the conclusion of the event, approximately £320 was raised for Unicef (http://www.unicef.org.uk/). There were some cakes left over at the conclusion of the event, meaning that the total will likely increase in the near future. Well done to everyone involved for making it happen!
