Snowdon Preparation Walk - 07/06/2014

In preparation for our charity Snowdon Walk on 21st June in aid of Surrey Air Ambulance (http://www.kssairambulance.org.uk/) we headed to Beare Green for 8 mile walk around the Leith Hill area.

Despite a torrential rain storm as we arrived, it wasn't long before the rain stopped and the raincoats came off. We headed off into the beautiful if slightly muddy Surrey countryside for a 8 mile trek. The scenery was amazing and we had great walk through a range of different terrains. Plenty of practice of up and down hill and fantastic views from the top of Leith Hill or should I say Leith Mountain. And it gave us a chance to brainstorm novelty costume ideas for the real walk.

All in all a brilliant walk. Thanks for organising Rob. Can't wait for the challenge of Snowdon!
